SATIN 4-H GIRLS CLUB IN
MEET WITH MRS. W. D. WALKER
The Cheerful Group Present--Looking
Forward to Visit of County
Home Economics
Agent.
To The
Democrat:
The 4-H members of Satin met at the of Mrs. W. D. Walker for a brief
business meeting. There were a few members who were not present as some
were out of town, and others detained at so it was small, but cheerful
group that met.
Hazle Campbell called the meeting to order and then called the roll.
Each responded readily with the reports of what work had been done in the
gardens.
The girls then sang club songs. After singing several peppy songs, Mrs.
Walker discussed the financial problems with the club.
On the previous Saturday the 4-H Girls gave a forty-two party and found it to
be a success. They took in ten dollars and cleared three dollars and 5
cents. It was a small start, but a start just the same and they expect to
make more next time.
